Peacock released the full Crystal Lake trailer on September 13, 2026. Linda Cardellini plays Pam Voorhees in the Friday the 13th prequel from A24 and creator Brad Caleb Kane.
The official synopsis follows Pam nearly a year after her son Jason drowned. Two strangers arrive asking about her past, setting off a mystery around her and the town. The series begins streaming October 15 on Peacock; that release date was announced before this trailer reveal.

Why it caught our attention
The pull here is a change of perspective: a familiar slasher setting viewed through Pam and the town around her.
